  • I hope everyone is settling into the new year okay!

On our end we're in a great position for the new year with restocks on the way, bigger sized bags for packaging and everything running smoothly. We're almost back to normal hours so any orders you can expect to be sent within 48 hours.

    Latest Tea Studies

Below are a few of the latest tea studies I came across while updating the website.

    - Consuming matcha with a high-fat diet resulted in decreased weight gain velocity, food intake, improved serum glucose and lipid profile, reduced inflammatory cytokines and ameliorated oxidative stress.

    - The health benefits of green tea for a wide variety of ailments, including different types of cancer, heart disease, and liver disease, were reported. Many of these beneficial effects of green tea are related to its catechin, particularly (-)-epigallocatechin-3-gallate, content.

Ashwagandha contains chemicals that might help calm the brain, reduce swelling, lower blood pressure, and alter the immune system.

    New Years Resolution Teas

I'm probably preaching to the choir here as I'm sure most of you are strong tea drinkers already, but I do get the question this time of year on what the most healthy general teas you can drink are.
It's really hard to go past Green Tea and Matcha as stated above in the studies as there's numerous very useful benefits to both of those. In terms of weight loss they're also one of the few that have positive studies behind them.

I hope everyone had a good new year and weekend! - Toby @ Tealife
